This is a WIP, that I am working on, slowly but surely. It is as of yet, still un-titled, and extreamly rough, but since this is a SG-1/SGA crossover community, I figured we needed something to get the ball rolling. And for those of you on my f-list, yes, this had originally been posted on my LJ a while ago.
Untitled as of yet.

CrystalheavenSpoilers and Warnings Takes place in SGA Rising, none for SG-1 I can think of. No major pairings yet, though there is a tiny bit of Jack/Daniel. If you squint, tilt your head to the left, and read a certain sentence a certain way. Not beta-ed.
Carson reached for the drone, tried to pull it back under his control before it blasted the helicopter out of the sky, but it was just to fast, to elusive. No matter what he tried, he just couldn't seem to wrap his mind around. Couldn't bring it back under control.
Through the drone, he watched as the pilot dipped and swerved through the air, fighting to stay a step ahead. The only reason they hadn't been blasted from the sky was the fact that the drone was operating on it's own, instead at his direction.
He could hear voices, telling him to get control back, to yank the thing from the sky. Tell it to self- destruct if he had to, just get rid of it! And he wanted to, oh how he wanted to, but he couldn't. It was to fast, he was to slow.
"Goddamn it Carson!" Rodney's voice growled in his ears. A second growl could only belong to Dr. Jackson. He could all but feel his friend's anger. Understandable really, given O'Neill was on the helicopter. He knew that Rodney and the General were close after what happened in Russia. Not as close as Dr. Jackson and the General, but then again, the only way for those two to be closer were to finally exchange vows.
Another near miss had him flinching back into the chair. He couldn't do it! Why didn't they understand that? Just because he had the damn gene, didn't mean that he could operate Ancient technology like Rodney could. He wasn't good enough. They had to see that. They had to! And if they didn't, well, he was going to tell them. He got as far as opening his mouth, when the world went dark.
It felt like someone had ripped off the top of his head, and poured molten lead inside. For one heart wrenching moment, he was sure that the drone had finally caught it's prey.
'Don't be an idiot.' There was no mistaking that sarcastic tone. Quicksilver flowed through his veins, sliding across his nerve endings and sparking his neurons like sparklers. It felt like trying to hold on to lighting. Was that... Could it be?
'RODNEY?!?!' He felt the mental wince ring across his nervous system, before realizing the scream had only been in his head.
'Yes, and not so loud. It's my eyes that don't work, not my ears. Think a little softer please, if that's even possible for you.'
'But, but how?' For some reason, his brain refused to start. It seemed stuck on the fact that Rodney had somehow ended up inside his head. But, that was impossible, unless.
'Explanations later Carson. We have a drone to stop.' There was a pause, as if Rodney was trying to use the chair to see. A sigh echoed in his bones. 'You're going to have to be my eyes. Apparently, the sensors can only show me within the outpost, not without.'
