(no subject)
Well, since I've graduated from college I've really been struggling with what I want to do with my life and what I know I'm supposed to do with my life. Well, not even so much as what I want to do, but what I feel comfortable doing. I am so blessed to go to such an amazing church and to be a part of such an amazing youth ministry. I honestly think that it's one of the best youth ministry in our area, if not the absolute best. And I'm anxious to be a part of one of the best college minsitries!
I guess when it comes right down to it, I know that I'm called to do XA. Here lately I've been really inspired by a number of things. I just thought I'd share those things here. #1 Isaac Barnard: Probably no one even knows who Ike is, so I'll just tell you. Isaac is a 16 year old man of God. Last year at a XA conference, God called him to be a missionary to South Africa. This guy's faith in who God is and what God has called him to do astounds me! He inspires me to follow the call of God on my life no matter how scary it is! And let's be real guys, sometimes is scarey. #2 Praise and worship: God has really been challenging me lately through the praise and worship songs that I have been hearing. One in particular is by Marty Sampson and Joel Houston...you know, the United Live guys. It's called to the ends of the earth. We sang it last night in church. What started out as another "ho-hum" worship service, which they should never be, suddenly turned into an encounter with God, at least for me.

Now, how amazing is that song? I can't wait for the day when it clicks in y head what's burning in my heart. I would give the world to tell His story. I know that God has called me to do amazing things in my lifetime and I know that the channel for those amazing things to happen for this time in my life XA. I can't wait until I can get to VT and begin to see what Father wants to do in and through. I can't wait to see the looks on people's faces when they have the same realization that I've had.
