Wow, probably one of the oddest weeks in my life.
Wednesday, got the "just friends" speech from Liz. Wow, I was soooo surprised. Lol. Didnt really take it too hard, as I wasnt exactly feeling it either. Got drunk, got a great night's sleep and got over it after about 20 minutes.
Friday had a mexican fiesta party, complete with lots of corona,margaritas, and burritos for Sam's birthday. It was good times, I watched Pulp Fiction for the very first time. Got trashed. Made everyone laugh. Slept in.
Saturday, get a call that im late to work. Thought I had to be there at 3, but it was 2. Ooops. Speeding to work, get pulled over. No ticket. PHEW! Get to work to a pleasant surprise. The lazy manager I hate got fired. Josh gets promoted, becomes a manager, gets a raise. Nice! Saturday night go to a party with Brian. Met a girl that intrigues me. Hit it off, made a great impression. Gonna go out later this week maybe.
And then there was Sunday. Good day at work. Hockey. Played perhaps the best game I have ever played. 2 goals and 2 assists, played on the best line in the game, so I ended up like +6 cuz we didnt give up a goal, and we had a bunch. The only bad thing, I got stoned on like 3 breakaways. My goals were garbage goals. One was a screened shot from the middle of the right circle, and the other was a rebound I dug out and backhanded in. But I got robbed on a 2 on 0, when I had 2 shots, and picked up the rebounds, then put the last one right into the goalie's glove. Definitely had some of the best speed, and I think the best hustle out there. Impressed a lotta people too. Sadly, this was the last pickup game before league starts, and I definitely cant come up with the $210 to play, so looks like im out for a couple months til next season.
