Snowstorm in Philadelphia: Citizens Overreactions Expected to Accumulate at 2-3’

Heavy snowfall is expected in Philadelphia tomorrow. Meteorologists have estimated 6-10 inches of snow and 2-3’ of overreaction.

“Our numbers are very accurate,” explains Todd Oldbridge, chief surgeon meteorologist of Philadelphia, “over the years we’ve calculated that overreaction is commonly 1 to 2 feet greater than the actual snowfall.”

Overreaction is expected to collect in several forms tomorrow afternoon and into the night.

“We’re expecting all the typical overreactions. People heading home early, meetings canceled, excessive use of the weather as conversation topic,” said Oldbridge, “and of course people will attempt to relate the falling of crystallized precipitation as an excuse for nearly every aspect of their lives.”

We asked some Philadelphians what they thought of the upcoming snowstorm.

“I’m really excited. I love snowstorms. I even plan on booking a flight south tomorrow morning. I’d tell you where, but then the snow would follow me,” said Dororthy Svain of West Philadelphia.

“I’ve child-proofed my house, just to be safe,” said Jill St. Martin of South Philadelphia.

“I took my cat for two walks today instead of one,” said Bob Farland of Center City, “but I’ve also made some kitty-boots just in case.”
