[There's a Canadian and her bear watching from the tree in their front yard. For a moment, she's confused, then she gets worried and hops down, directly in line with where the bull seems to be going. Is that the smart thing to do? Of course it is. She's Canada.]
( ( AND TORO IS CHARGING AT SPAIN. CHARGING, CHARGING. . . HE'S GOING TO GET SPAIN THIS TIME.
and suddenly there's a woman and Toro veers off course into someone's frontyard and begins to stamp at the grass, turning around and trying to figure out what happened.) )
( ( Meanwhile, Spain is some way down the road before he realizes how much easier running is. . . He stops a few houses down and looks around, looking just as confused as his simple friend. ) )
Ay! Toro! What are you doing all the way back there? ( ( Spain begins to jog back, out of breath and smiling still until he sees Canada. ) ) Huh? Oh, hello! You aren't hurt, are you?
[Canada is trying to figure out how to befriend a bull and hoping it's sort of like befriending a moose when the poor fellow being chased starts heading back. Then she takes a polite step away, half turning to him.]
Oh, no, I'm quite fine, thank you. [Staring at him a little bit because hey familiarity. But she's not going to be rude and bring that up first.] Is this bull your friend?
( ( Toro is easy to befriend. Like Spain, the bull has an affinity for children and women. ) )
Ah, that's good. He's normally good with people but it can be hard to stop when he's charging. . . ( ( Rubbing Toro's nose. ) ) Sí, Toro is a very good friend.
Did you hear that, Toro? I think you have an admirer. ( ( teasing, teasing! but oh, toro like the idea of having new friends here. ) ) Yes, I am! But I'm afraid I don't know who you are, miss.
Oh, I see. Well, it's very nice to meet you properly.
[She gives a little curtsey, then looks ready to say something else when there's a commotion in the tree above her. Looking up, there's one fat-assed polar bear hanging off a branch. Canada lets out a little sigh, then looks at Spain.] Excuse me a moment.
[And now she'll be coaxing Kumarie into dropping into her arms, because it's rude to climb trees to fetch your silly old bears when your elders are around.]
Oh, we're good, thank you! [And now she has a polar bear landing on her, sort of in her arms, but mostly on her face. Canada makes a strangled sort of noise at the less-than-graceful drop, then immediately switches the bear to cuddle her in her arms.]
Are you sure-- ay! ( ( And Spain hurries over to SAVE CANADA from having her face MAULED by a rabid polar bear. But he's not really sure how to intervene. Luckily, he doesn't have to because Canada gets it all under control. CENTURIES LATER the Americas never stop surprising Spain. ) ) Are you all right?

( ( Watching Kumarie and Canada. Toro even comes over to watch. ) ) Do you need help? ( ( Because Spain isn't afraid of a polar bear. ) )
