[Nino's doing some exploring of her own, and happens to pass by the church. Curious, she steps inside cautiously. She doesn't see Spain at first, and is startled when he turns around.]

Oh! [Her voice echoes, and she immediately covers her mouth with a hand.]

( ( Oh, that is some strange colored hair. The echoing doesn't bother him and he leans on the back of the pew, smiling at the girl. ))

Jaja, did I scare you, niña? I'm sorry!

[Aww yeah, reppin' the green hair. She's encouraged by his smile, and seems to lose her previous timidity, coming closer to Spain.]

It's okay! I was just surprised to see somebody in here, that's all!

And my name's Nino! Not niña.

( ( Is it real? He's never seen anything like it before. Ah, she's so cute though so he can overlook it for now. ))

Why? It's not uncommon to find people in God's house, you know?

Ah? ( ( So cute so cute so cute. )) I see. Nino! It's nice to meet you. My name is, Antonio but most people know me as España.

[She notices him staring at her hair and frowns a little, looking puzzled. It's not that weird is it??]

I guess! It seems like people mostly come here on certain days, though.

Yeah! I'm Nino! It's nice to meet you too, España! Or should I call you Antonio? Is "España" a nickname...? Or a title?

( ( For him, yes. He doesn't catch on to the change in expression but he does realize he's staring and feels rather rude so he stops. ))

Mhmm. Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings and ah. . . you can come whenever you want. It's open for everyone!

Everyone recognizes me as España or Spain. . . but ah, it's strange for some people so I don't mind if they call me Antonio. It's up to you!

Well, I don't really know very much about religion, but this building's really nice... It's a quiet place.

Hm? Strange? Why is it strange?

Ah. . . it is nice, no? Not like the ones at home but it's good.

( ( He tilts his head to one side. Normally by now, he'd get the question, "You're Spain?" He's gotten the reaction so many times, even he's picked up on it and it's strange to not hear it. ))

You've never heard of Spain?

[She nods and smiles.

Then tilts her head to one side to match his own expression. She doesn't get what's so weird about that. Now if he said had said he name was Lycia or something that'd be a different story. |3]

Nope. Never!

( ( This is not allowed. Everyone must know of the glory that is Spain. ))

Ah, Spain is my home! It's ah, in Europe on the peninsula of Iberia and. . . Never, really?

( ( Th-this is rather humbling. ))

[oh Spain you are in for some disappointment ;u;]

No... I'm sorry! Europe? Iberia...? [STRUGGLES TO RECALL GEOGRAPHY] A peninsula is when the land sticks out, right? So... is that... on Nabata?

( ( N-no, his imperial ego is already hurt as it is. ))

Sí, sí, ( ( Oh, gosh, is she getting it? Is she? )) Sí, it is-- ah

( ( He's never even heard of that place before. ))

[oh gosh SO CLOSE and then so... disappointed ;o; she obviously feels bad that she has no idea what Spain is.]

Oh.

I'm sorry! I've never heard of any of those places... We must be from different worlds...!

( ( But she tried! And Spain can admire that. ))

Ah, don't worry! I can teach you! ( ( Wait. What. )) ¿Perdon?

Okay! I'd like to learn about new places!

Hm? When I got here, some people told me that this town pulls people in from different worlds! It makes sense, because everyone here is so different... But that means that the people here must be really powerful, to be able to open so many gates...

A different world?

( ( He raises a brow. What kind of talk is that? He hasn't heard anything like that since. . .. well, the 1500s when America was cool. ) )

Do you mean a different country?
