Devon's Birthday II

Apr 24, 2011 16:01

We had a fun time celebrating Devon's birthday last night!  (Her birthday party with her girl friends will be in a couple of weeks, but luckily she had not yet found her family a source of embarrassment!)

Here are some photos:

We met for supper with Bev, John and Aunt Joanne at Pizzadelic.  A good time --- and good food, too --- was had by all!

The girls loved the fact that they could draw on the "placemats."

Devon pigged out on fried calamari.

And Tallis, who eats about five things, and won't even try such basics as mac 'n cheese, also loved fried calamari.  (Will we ever tell her what it actually is.  Nope.)

There was some silliness.  Just don't ask.

Devon is lately obsessed with the TV show "Merlin."  (I am, too, for that matter.) This was her birthday cake request.

And this (below) is how excited she was about said cake:

Just about to blow out her candles:

Silliness with raspberries!

I know --- it's insanely pink.  But it sure beats the orange and yellow one Barbie R.V. that they came out with in the 1970's.

Devon was well-gifted, and went to bed (quite late) a tired but happy girl!
