Through Others' Eyes
Your task, good people, is to show me what your character is like by the way others treat him/her. Let me give you a good example of this. In the opening scene of the Godfather the character Don Corleone is established without his doing or saying anything. He sits behind a desk, in a room of quietly devoted supoorters, while across from him a man pleads for help and forgiveness. We know Don is large and in charge by the way others treat him. Get it? HOWEVVVVVER. There is also another way you can do this. If you would prefer, you can show us how everyone treats and perceives your character and THEN show us how they are actually COMPLETELY WRONG. I don't have a fun example prepared for this one though. Sorry. I'm gonna stop talking now because it's 9:30 and I haven't had dinner. If you have more questions we can discuss below~
