What to say on this little online journal thingy....
Things have been going pretty well lately. Summer's coming to an end, and I'm looking forward to getting back on campus and moving out of my house. I went to Six Flags on Friday with David and Katie. Despite the traffic jam, broken down rides, messed up arcades, tech problems at Sarah's show, I had a good time with two of my best friends. I don't see Katie as much as I used to, our schedules always conflict, so it was nice to hang out with her for once.
Saturday I lounged around with David for awhile, then went home and painted. I'm so sick of painting my house but oh well. I will soon be out of there! Saturday night David took me out to dinner and movie. We went to Olive Garden...but had a little mishap with his car. It kind of died in the parking lot. We went to leave for the movie and it wouldn't start. So, I called up Ro and he came to our rescue and brought us back to David's house to get my car. We went to the movies and saw "The Island" which was an interesting movie. It wasn't bad...just...interesting.
Sunday morning, today, we got up and dealt with his car. We tried to jump start it, but that failed so we bought a new battery, which also failed. Then, we realized it was the connector that was the problem, and David fixed it...haha, cause he's cool like that, and the car was fine.
After dealing with the car, I had to drop by my house to pick up my keyboard, then I came back to David's to relax. We went to his hockey game. His team lost, but he scored a nice goal. w00t! After his game I had a Milf-n-Cookies rehearsal. That seemed kind of unproductive, but oh well.
Now I'm back at David's...where I tend to be every night :-)
Thursday, Aug 11th.....Milf-n-Cookies performs at Banana Joe's in Allentown. Come check us out! 18 to enter, 21 to drink.
I'm having a BBQ at my house that afternoon before the show so feel free to come on over and hang out for a bit. Just give me a heads up and I'll make sure I have enough food and drinks for everyone. Come by anytime after 3pm. Let me know if you need directions.
