(no subject)
It's my day off and I thought I'd do a little editing. Here's why I'll have to put myself into a yogic trance.
1) The people across the street have been moving out, very noisily, for the past two days. Now they have a dumpster in their driveway, into which they seem to emptying the entire contents of their house.
2) Two houses down, a tree service is at work, complete with chainsaws and one of those gigantic chipper trucks.
3) Best of all, after stripping our old roof to the beams and installing a new one, the roofers had to come back and tighten things up around the chimney because water got under the flashing and leaked into the attic during the downpour last night.
Oh, well, at least it seems to be spring around here. The daffodils are growing about an inch a day.
ETA: Er, did I speak too soon about spring? It's snowing now.
