Wow! I love it! Reminds me very much of why I loved A&A. The self-righteousness of the Ministry creates, rather than defeats, enemies. Why shouldn't Snape join the Death Eathers when the "good" side behaves in such a way? To think, Snape was faced with a moral dilemma, he made what should have been the right choice, and he was punished. Damn, I know it's just a fic, but I'm so frustrated for your Snape! Looking forward to more!

This happens so often in RL that it's interesting to try and work out how somebody like Snape would handle it.
