Rainy days...procrastination..greasy food..
It's raining right now pretty heavily and I feel exhausted. I stayed really late last night talking to Levi and then got up kinda early today. I just got back from flyering up on Haight St. with Courtney and Rossen for this, which is coming up on Thursday:
It should be a lot of fun I hope. Courtney is djing there, as well as some kids from NY and LA.
Other than that, I've just been studying lots, making plans for my move, studying more, missing Levi horribly and (occasionallY) rewarding myself for studying by going out w/friends.
I feel so tired and greasy right now from eating too much Naan bread. Yuck. Something weird about the indian food I just had- it tasted awesome until it was room temperature and then all the sudden it was pretty gross and made me feel like I was coated in grease.
I might take a nap before I get back to working on school stuff. I have this ridiculous 8 page paper that I have to write for my queer media class. Apparently Courtney's roomie, who is in my class, asked her if I was gay..haha. I think I just figured out that I'm the only person in there that ISN'T. Am I that naive? Little did I know when I picked Gender Studies for my Segment III that I'd be in tons of queer/feminist classes. Oh well; I have learned quite a bit about a wide range of things thanks to those classes. I still don't know what I"m writing that insane research paper on though; I'm thinking of analyzing an excerpt from "Godspeed". That book is so amazingly good, even if you aren't gay. It's got everything: drug abuse, crazy,fucked up relationships, intolerant redknecks, lots of punks, bikes messengers...
I seriously read it at lightning speed. I just couldn't wait to find out what the protagonist was going to do next.It's rare that I find a book these days that I can hardly bear to put down.

Well, since it's so miserable out, I guess there's nothing else to do but get back to work. Ugh. I could stall forever and just fuck around online/draw/do anything else but write a fucking paper.
Oh yeah, one more thing. I will be having some sales over at my house in the next few weeks to get rid of tons of my stuff for the move. Anyone interested, just let me know. I'll be selling lots of old clothes, possibly some shoes and also furniture/books.
K...going to write now. If I don't get this done soon, I'm going to be totally screwed.
