Fifth Chucky sequel one of the worst films ever

The story of how Lucille, Bob and Eric and myself wound up in Edgewater to see this revolting 76-minute aberation is far more interesting than the actual film.  The four of us travelled to Montclair to see the 7:15 PM of the acclaimed British thriller Enduring Love, but were turned back because of "projection problems" in that theatre.  Disappointed by this we went over to dine at Mexicali Rose, and after yet another rather sub-par meal at the "new management" establishment, we decided to see the 10:15 PM of the sequel to Bridget Jones' Diary.  A sell-out then turned us back again, so rather than go home without any film at all we decided to see Chucky, a long-anticipated horror film by network afficianado Barry T. Wiseman.  The movie was an embarrassment and I believe a high school film student could have eclipsed it on any level.  The audience of young people even booed this depraved gorefest, which was devoid of any rhyme or reason.  Mr. Wiseman will be hard-pressed to say anything good about this one.  We all wasted our time and money.
