what a day...
So, the entire battalion got "zonked" for PT this morning. That was cool, b/c we had a battalion run on the pt schedule and then when the BC came out and started talking to us, he was like, you have 30 seconds to get off this PT field. So we all popped smoke and ran, it was pretty sweet. Then i had a pretty shamtastic day at work. Showed up at 930, sat around not doing anything until about 11, then i rode shotgun for somebody to move a 5-ton, then i got a free hamburger from the blood drive. But i wasnt allowed to give blood, aparently having "sexual contact" with a crack-whore flags you for life, plus i got a tattoo less than a year ago. Anyways, after all that was done with, i went back and sat around the company for a few hours, then showed my team leader that i know how to assess a casualty, apply a field dressing, pressure dressing, and turniquit(sp?). Then i did some classes and finally got released for the day around 3, when everybody else had been gone since around 1030ish. Tomorow im supposed to be released for the day around 8 though, so that's pretty sweet.
Anyways, im kinda pissed, b/c i have to move my computer into my closet for block leave, which is kinda gay, but apparently thats the only way it wont get stolen. So im pretty much ready to get drunk and clean my room, so...
