The night of the "MoMo"s :-)
I will seriously have to update soon - but I've barely been home enough to be on my computer lately (and with my connection, this entry took forEVER)...
Jenn and I just got back from a STARS game (our second one in a week....long story....) and I was a happy girl this time. Jenn and I went to an open practice last weekend where they were giving out free tickets, and I was able to catch Brenden practicing :-)
We had some amazing seats Thursday night and I was *very* excited for my first game of the season...SO...I get my camera ready....we arrive early to watch them warm up...and guess whose favorite player didn't play that night? Yes my hockey boyfriend. So on a whim we decided to drive down and get some cheap seats tonight with a plan to find better seats when we go down by the ice to watch warm up. Well, I guess Jenn and I looked pathetic trying to buy cheap seats (which they didn't have any more of) and the older man sold us lower level seats for $30 (regularly $75 seats). Woohoo! We went in for practice, and I finally managed to stand near where Brenden spends most of his time warming up....
Jenn and I had good seats, but in the second period we managed to move to the third row. I had such a great time, and Jenn and I decided to call the boys "MoMo" since her guys is MOdano and mine is MOrrow. Oh, hockey season. How I've been waiting :-) .......
