5 current favorites

Guess I've been tagged. Ella's starting to move into the terrible twos 8 months early and it's getting interesting as to how often I can access the internet without a long pause on the Noggin website.

Like Meesch, I don't really have favorites. It tends to be the funk I'm in or the discs I've got in my car. Currently, my most heavily played discs are as follow:

1) Ella - courtesy of one of the couples we are friends with. (All of the songs have Ella's name in them. My favorite song on the disc right now is "Let's Pretend Ella". It's a catchy tune.)
2) Eminem's The Eminem Show - Song "White America" (I think that's the title. Anyway, it's the first track.)
3) Garth Brooks' No Fences - Song "Unanswered Prayers"
4) Dixie Chicks'- Can't remember the name of the disc and I enjoy sing loudly along to all of the songs.
5) Nirvana's Nevermind - Song (all of them, but particularly "Smells Like Teen Spirit)

Of course, I also have in heavy rotation: Beatles' One, Beach Boys' Greatest Hits, and the soundtrack to the Sound of Music because there is nothing quite so wonderful as "raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens".

My favorite song on the radio is playing on a retro station and fits in perfectly with a few situations lately: "Back-stabber". I have no idea who sings it, but it is great and it always makes me chuckle.
