Happy Valentines Day to me!!!
Kenny and I celebrated the season of love by running our first race together. We aren't traditional "Valentines" day type of people... so running just seemed like the natural selection for us.
Overall, we both did Stellar! Kenny ran with Tim and they finished about 4 minutes ahead of me. I could not be more proud of the progress that Kenny has made in the past 3-4 weeks of running. Seriously you would think he has been running for years with the progress he has made.
The big news for me was I finished fast, big time. I ran this race at a faster pace than I have run any other race ever. (I ran this race at a 12:11 pace versus my fastest 5K which I ran at a 12:49 pace, 10 months ago). I PRed by 17 minutes! And unlike the Geico 12K Race, I wasn't last.

This was a great way to start the Spring race season. We have races for the next two weekends followed by a nice well earned vacation. I can't wait to see what the future races hold for me. See you at Al Toll on the 21st!
