[It's early afternoon, and Pinkie Pie has just sat down for a break in a training session to the south of Goldenrod. She's fairly confident in her disguise, which is why she's started training her pokémon in earnest instead of hiding out where the ponies have been staying. Instead of her obvious, curly pink hair, she's got a long-ish, plainly ( Read more... )

It depends on the Pokemon you have really. Each one requires something different to aid it. Training, a stone, a certain situation. However, evolution does help it to become stronger it seems.

Oh, that's too bad.

I have a numel and a duskull and a jigglypuff!

[Aya takes a moment to research that.]

Your Numel will evolve after reaching Level 33. So that will just take come training. And it looks like the same for the Duskull but at Level 37.

Your Jigglypuff will need a Moon Stone though. Those are found in Goldenrod.

Why do some of them need stones to evolve instead of just getting stronger?

I know some things are totally unexplainable, so I guess it's okay if I never find out how it works.
