rant ahead
i hate sunday meetings.
at first i thought i should friend-only this bitch so it'd be all confidential and stuff, but the majority of my lj friends are daily cal people anyway, so it doesnt really make a difference.
moving on... i just hate the negativity (SO hippie, i know) the meetings perpetuate. and then they drain everyone's energy, so no one can be nice and courteous and fun anymore. everyone gets grumpy, and we're all stuck inside, and things are said that shouldnt be said.
this is all nonspecific, of course.
not that people are starting to bitch at each other (or at least not uncontrollably and in a blatantly mean way - its all pretty sarcastic and indirect), but yeah, we could all do without.
they just drag down the general atmosphere and make my life harder.
but then we all talk over the newbies' heads and they dont know whats going on... and thats funny... but i guess its kinda mean at the same time bec we exclude them... and thats not good...? i dont know, i cant think anymore.
bottom line: today sucked. nine and a half hours of this was too much.
i look forward to friday.
