a few things...
i got a scholarship from the alumni association, so thats cool. i
guess it makes up for all the semesters i ddint renew it. taosterman and
jagcix also received money and i suspect we will party hardy at the reception.
i was inspired by roo22hyper to cook dinner at home for the first time in... a million years. i made pasta with meat sauce and actually cooked up the meat! turned out pretty well.
i have also decided that from now on b shall be referred to as bbg. it just makes more sense to me since thats what i call him in real life. i'll let you try to guess what it stands for. and he just used up all my post-its! damn you and your history thesis!!!!!!!!!!!!
anyway. bbg and i went grocery shopping earlier tonite. god knows we needed to. couldnt even eat a fucking pb&j since we dont have bread! its so ridiculous. so we made the hike to andronicos with the little granny cart (yep, you read right) and did some shopping. dropped some cash money on the bare necessities (ie diet caffiene free pepsi, bananas, 5 boxes of cereal etc). more will be bought tomorrow since nick has to drop off rent (conveniently near safeway on shattuck). and by more i mean alcohol and toilet paper. ive also been told that we'll be doing the recycling! whooooooo hooooooo!!!!!!!! any money earned will go back into buying more beer so we can start accumulating bottles and cans again. we all hope it'll be a lot.
i successfully downloaded gilmore girls from roo22hyper, i just need to make time to watch them all now. other guilty tv pleasures: surreal life, my fair brady (im such a vh1 whore), my super sweet sixteen, old episodes of dawson's creek, anything on food network... im such a terrible person.
i have this theory... between 4:40pm and 5pm i get incredibly sleepy if im in class and absolutely cant pay attention or keep my eyes open. so far im two for two in my experiments. i dont know what it is, but right before and right after i feel completely fine. and is it just a coincidence that both classes i fall asleep in are soc welfare related? maybe its a sign...
tomorrow's game is the last game of the season for me... this baseball season i will have gone to 15 giants games and 4 a's games (assuming i didnt lose any of the ticket stubs or put them elsewhere). not a bad run at all. still wish tomorrow would mean something... but i suppose they all cant be like that one game i went to in 2002. marvin bernard what.
