the weekend
camping was fun... add jes back in, subtract joe's sister, and add joe for just the daytime and you get some good times. we got there and luckily caught kelle on her way in. we set up camp, which was trickier than the tent box let on.
after joe came we went on a hike to see sempervierne falls, which werent as great as they sound. continued the trek to slippery rock and hiked up the giant rock, which was fun. made it back to camp and ate soot covered spicy sausages and beans. we were very unprepared for this expidition, but luckily kel's mom made her bring lots of stuff and we were ok. jes came and we drank beers and ate smores... got yelled at by the ranger bec we were, of course, being too loud. altho we're naturally that way so it wasnt as if we knew we were being retardedly loud. slept on the hard, hard ground. jes left at 7am to work (haha, still think thats funny and sucky for her). we got up at 9 freakin AM. ate breakfast/lunch while chasing away hungry blue jays and squirrels - they're fearless. broke camp and headed home. except b and i got lost and added an extra hour onto our trip... :( that was no fun.
drove through ben lomand, felton, scotts valley... drove by slv high... hahahahahahahahaha god it would suck to live in those podunk-y areas.
took naps at my house, and took much needed showers. saw 'war of the worlds' and most of 'mr. and mrs. smith' at the drive-in with jes and kel. what i love about the drive-in: you can talk through the whole movie, and you bet your ass that's exactly what i did with jes and kel (b didnt like that so much). didnt like 'war of the worlds' so much, nice special effects tho. the brad pitt movie was as silly as i thought it would be, but entertaining.
today, i shopped for a bday present for leanna and a very late mother's day present whilst b ran on the beach. next up: dinner with the entire fam to celebrate leanna's 17th (god we're so old).
