Job...whatever
I start my internship at ETMC tomorrow. I am really not looking forward to it. It just doesn't feel like I have to go to work tomorrow. That might just be because I've never done anything like this before, as far as jobs go, so I honestly have no idea what working there might actually be like. Plus I have been sitting on the couch watching tv for literally almost five hours. zombirific.
John and Pete are off on their adventures in Scotland. That doesn't feel like its happening either. Of course, they just left this morning and its only been about 12 hours since I last talked to John, so we'll see how I feel in a few days. Becky is in Rockwall for the next couple weeks, I think, so its pretty quiet (aka lonely) around the apt. I have thursday and friday off so I might go home, although going home for a week and just hanging out is probably why I'm so anti-work right now. I did work today and yesterday at the library, but summer just started so obviously there was no one there except employees. So the one good thing is that i've gotten a lot of reading done lately. Actually two good things. I have the motorcycle with me here in Tyler and its awesome! I went riding around this afternoon and I'm saving lots of gas! I filled up today and calculated gas mileage for my last tank - 64.5 miles per gallon!
