Summer/Work/Life
I didn't get the job at Southwest Airlines. I'm disappointed, but mostly it just made me realize that I wanted to go home for summer. I know it would probably be boring once I got there, but I know what its gonna be like here too. I already told the Rockwall library that I didn't want my old job back there, but now I kinda wish I had it. although last summer it was really boring and would be even more boring this summer because I have no classes to study for. So I guess I'm gonna go with the backup plan I already had, which is to do a part-time, unpaid internship at a hospital in Tyler and work part-time at the school library. Basically, i'll work at least 40 hours a week, probably with some time on weekends, and only make about $500 a month. I can get upper-level journalism elective credit for the internship, but I have to pay for a 3 hour class, which will be about $750. On the plus side, I don't have to move again till I move into a one bedroom in august. And I'm gonna bring my bike out here soon and I'll be able to ride it to Rockwall, hopefully often.
Two weeks of school left! I'm at that stage where i've just turned in a paper and a couple project that have been taking up ALL my time for the last couple weeks, and now that I have some free time I don't even know what to do with myself. I'm sure it won't last long.
