Happily Ever After....

LAST NIGHT: I had the opportunity to spend some time with my friend Scott. It was very nice. Since moving back to Louisville I find that I'm so busy even my shadow gets tired at 3 p.m. and quits. So finding time for those around me has been difficult ( Read more... )

Honey, there is no such thing as "Happily Ever After". (Thank the stars)
Tomorrow will bring you conflict and pain. These things will help you grow and make you strong. But I agree with Scott, we will see you on TV and in the movies when you are famous. Just remember what I said about not forgetting the little guy.

I know there isn't really a "happily ever after"...I do have a degree in tv...one thing we were taught was that people WANT and except that movies will have a happy ending because we as humans have to feel that everything will always work out right...the good guy always wins...and it's true in life, though life isn't a movie and your problems aren't solved in a two hour segment, if you keep your spirits up, smile always and just generally have a good disposition, I believe you'll have a happy life.

I always think of life like this....how would you ever know you're happy, if you never felt pain?

There is such thing as "happy ever after." The only people who dont believe in it are the scared and jaded ones who make themselves unhappy and blame everone else for thier problems. Life is hard and I agree, but the older you get the better things get. So, meet your man of your dreams and fall in love and trust me, it wil be "happy ever after." I know this cause I have. After three years, "happy ever after" just gets better!

well I think what I meant was that not ALL things can be "fairy tale." there are going to be ups and there will be downs. it's how you look at life whether it will be happy or not. I just really meant that things aren't utopic.

grr..I hope that "I do have a tv degree" thing didn't sound sassy...wasn't going for that....it was just suppose to be a joke...cause "happily ever after" is something you always see in the movies but I know life isn't a movie. it's the opposite, it's real.

You Sassy Baby, you! ;-)

I love what the Japanese do. Many (not all) of their movies end where the good guy doesn't win and the world continues in misery and heartache. A fictitious look at reality brought into a realistic sense of fiction.
This is especially funny (and maybe interesting) in the fact that so many of their programs are very "over the top" to begin with.

I raise my glass to you, Hon and I say, "Here's to happy endings."
