why? whyyyyy?
kevin and i put an offer on a house that we absolutely LOVED last nite. however i cannot be on the paperwork because i dont have a job. i have better credit but no source of income. kevin has poop credit and hes the big baller rollin in the bank. so pretty much we're fucked and i think that we are going to have to tell lisa (our friend and real estate agent) not to submit it. (note to others, it really does pay to have a friend in real estate, its so much more less tense when doing shit)
im really fucking furious at kevins dad though. he wont co-sign. and kev doesnt want to ask my dad because he has self made man syndrome.the problem isnt us being able to afford the house, we totally can no problem. kevin just doesnt have the credit and the loan needs certain letters of shit from previous month to month bills. so we have the old apartment, 4 yrs and the old pg&e bills but nothing else. his dad put the phone in his name at the old apartment and all the new bills are in my name. why wont his dad just sack it up and do it?

so basically what i learned from this was that college students are fucked. u go to school for 4+ years and have no income and then get a job after u graduate and cant get a fucking house because u have nothing built up. rad, im so glad weve paid cash for everything we own. seems like that should be worth more than using credit cards.
