I mean, it's hard to dislike the "trying to be a bastard but being overprotective anyway for the heck of it"!older brother. And this thing that he has with Antonio. The thing that is so abnormally adorable.
And he's like a fucking tsundere. What's not to love? (Seeing as how I'm so taken with Britannia Angel Arthur and his own brand of tsundere. Well. There's not much to ponder about.)
I also like the way that he's a coward despite not looking like it. Reminds me of what Kubo Tite said when he was going through Bleach character designs.

I'd say that he's a B. Best traits are that he's wild, active, and a doer. But his worst are that he's selfish and irresponsible. Latter part sums him up nicely. (Less selfish, more irresponsible, eh?)
Um, with his best traits, I'm remembering the time Spain was talking with German soldiers. Romano kinda ran to fight with the Germans. That counts for best traits? Also, when Spain was sick and all and Romano was sort of running around?
