SuiSasu

If you read the Shippuuden manga, you ought to know who Suigetsu is. I've actually been crazy about SuiSasu ever since, well, Suigetsu's first chapter appearance. Hey, it's a partially credible pairing.

Honestly, my thoughts on Shippuuden is that it is filled with innuendos. You can just pick up a lot of things from it. It's actually amazing. You'll see even more crack on Shippuuden than you can in most fan fiction. Honestly. It's as if Kishimoto-sensei himself is trying to make a doujinshi of the original Naruto. Not that I'm complaining or anything. I actually like Shippuuden.

Why am I calling the after-the-timeskip Naruto manga Shippuuden when only the aforementioned name pertains to the one in the anime? Well, because it's much longer when you call it after-the-timeskip part of the manga. I just tired myself out by typing all of those things.

Okay, back to the subject at hand then. Expect this to be a particularly long post. I'm putting all of my heart into my feelings .

I've discovered a new crack pairing and it happens to be Suigetsu/Sasuke. Yes, Suigetsu and Sasuke. If you really are up to date with the manga, you'll see that there's a slight semblance between SuiSasu and KisaIta. First, let's start with the apparent semes in the relationship. Wow, this is actually sounding like a decent post if you overlook the subject.

Kisame and Suigetsu are both from the Seven Mist Swordsmen or whatever you call those bunch of guys that wield swords that come from Kirigakure such as Hoshigaki Kisame and the late Momochi Zabuza. Suigetsu, though, is not actually someone who has a sword. I suspect that he might be a member of that group but in a much lesser position. Like with the Akatsuki, the Seven Mist Swordsmen may have underlings. I suppose that Suigetsu is one of them in that way because he kept on talking about them and getting a sword. I think it might be Zabuza's sword because he did get that sword while they were on the way to see Karin.

And, yes, on that very same journey, there was a smidgen of SasuNaruSasu. Sasuke, when they passed The Great Naruto Bridge, smiled at the memory of that bridge and possibly also at Naruto. But my like &mdash or is it an obsession? &mdash of NaruSasuNaru, most especially NaruSasu, is not the subject of this particular post. It might be the subject of some other post someday, but I'm not so sure. Oh, well, we'll just have to see.

Aside from those things, Suigetsu and Kisame are somewhat similar in appearance. Somewhat. Okay, so maybe only a little bit. But you must admit, those fangs are eerily similar. And that smile. I don't think they've given out a colored version of Suigetsu yet. I hope that they do. There's a small percent that his skin could be blue, too. At around thirty percent if you round it up to tens.

Now we move on to the similarities between Uchiha Sasuke and Uchiha Itachi. For starters, they're both missing-nin. They look somewhat similar, too. Their way of thinking is rather warped. They've both been declared geniuses, Itachi being more so than Sasuke. And, most of all, they're both from the Uchiha Clan. Though if I must say so myself, I think that Itachi's more complex than Sasuke. But they're starting to share the place of The Most Mentally Complex Naruto Character and also The Hardest to get In Character Naruto Character.

I am dedicated in my HTMLs in this post. Everything you see here is from HTMLs. I do not use the Rich text simply because I want to do it the hard way. I'm already lazy enough. I just wanted to know how it felt like to work. And damn is it hard.

So after listing down those similarities between Itachi and Sasuke and Kisame and Suigetsu, we now move onto a more broader view of the picture. The similarities between SuiSasu and KisaIta.

As it stands, my view is that the semes in these pairings are more talkative and louder than the apparent ukes. The ukes also seem to be more powerful than the semes. And both ukes are shorter than the semes. Although Kisame is much, much taller than Itachi while Suigetsu and Sasuke are pretty near each others' height. Both ukes in these pairings also seem to be more, I don't know, aesthetically appealing. The semes also look a bit odd. Both semes seem to have an attraction to large swords. The ukes seem mysterious and are also of the seemingly unemotional type. Or the bastardly type.

Now that I've listed all of the similarities between SuiSasu and KisaIta that I can think of, we go on to more serious business.

How exactly did I come up with SuiSasu?

I really don't know why. It just popped into my head one day after Suigetsu's first appearance. I mean, who wouldn't think of the pair &mdash unless you're homophobic or are far too innocent or something like those &mdash after seeing around... one chapter of Shippuuden with Suigetsu hanging naked around Sasuke? I've actually thought that maybe the guy was an exhibitionist or something. Hey, it's a possibility. Not to mention Suigetsu did want to kill Karin for making him take the wrong path. That's something, right?

Look, if I like the pairing, I just end up liking it. It's nothing big really. Everything is on a whim. Sasuke thinks in whims, too.

I've always had a penchant for odd pairings that only a few people or none at all would think about. I guess I'm just like that. Okay, so I give into the occasional norms like SasuNaru (but really, I prefer NaruSasu which is much, much rarer than SasuNaru and therefore can be said to be an odd pairing, or an odd position of people) and ItaSasu (which really is somewhat famous).

And, so, here I am right now, in front of you, writing that SuiSasu is definitely my new (crack) pairing from Naruto. Or maybe I'm taking them far too seriously for me to just dismiss it as a crack pairing. If you are reading Shippuden and are not at all against shounen-ai or yaoi, try to think about the pairing. They click a bit.

All in all, though, I think that Shippuuden's nice. I also think that it would be nice if there was an orgy between Suigetsu, Karin, Juugo, and Sasuke. The former three fighting for the latter's attention. I think that it'd be rather humorous and all.

So, what about you? Got any new pairings from Shippuuden?
