Note: I'm sorry to Kai-puu whom I never got the chance to chat up. I just... couldn't do it. I'm probably brain dead after walking and standing around too much. I'll give you a long-ass post tomorrow. I swear.
So then~ I was out of the house most of the time today. When I came home, I went to sleep. So, um, yeah. Hardly any time for me to go and roam the Net. (Felt exceedingly tired, too.)
I spent some time in writing and playing. And, ah, as I waited for the page to load - online game ftw? - I read a manga. An exceedingly disturbing manga. Most of the time, I was trying to withhold the shudders. I even felt as if I was about to fucking puke or gag or even spontaneously combust.
The title of the manga was Jisatsu Circle. For those who may not be familiar with the word, jisatsu - and because I am a freak, here's some wonderful kanji for you: 自殺 - means suicide in Japanese.
And, holy cow, it was appropriately titled.
Normally, you know, I'd go ahead and tell you to look it up, but for the love of your sanity, don't fucking do it. Even if you're tempted. Because I even ended up deleting it as soon as I read through it.
Well, of course, unless you're feeling somewhat masochistic.
I was merely, um, stupid. Since, you know, cruising the Net, looking for some manga to read during the rainy days and all that.
I was supposed to read this one Naruto doujin, but then I said, I haven't even finished the rest of the manga that I've piled up. It'd be a waste, I'd thought. Thinking about it, I probably should've followed my first option. And I probably shouldn't have ever decided on downloading Jisatsu Circle since the title already had warning bells ringing in my head.
So, continuing then.
Some creepy shit right there.
The manga, obviously, tackles the subject of suicide.
The beginning was really powerful. Around sixty-two, if I remember correctly, students jumped in front of a train. Their remains were shown while still on the train tracks. There was one girl who'd survived and that was Saya.
Apparently, all of these girls had been suffering. Cutting their arms, that sort.
Saya was the same as them. Add to that, she, uh, was also selling her body for her father who's mentally unstable and in a hospital.
She has this friend named Kyouko/Kyoko (will be using latter since that's one letter shorter) who was exceedingly happy - she'd discovered the opposite sex during that time - when she was suffering.
In that time of suffering, Saya was introduced to a Mitsuko-san.
AND THAT'S JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT I'M SPOILING YOU WITH.
Rest assured, it seems as if there's some sort of a cult in there, Kyoko hallucinating (seeing a ghost/apparition that looked like Saya when she was a child while she, Kyoko, was riding the train past midnight), a teacher being killed, and the police.
Some serious mind-fuckery. A lot of blood, too.
Not suggested for minors.
...
Right, I know what you're saying.
Not suggested for people who'd most likely be as freaked out as I am after seeing through this.
I don't even think that I'll be able to function well tomorrow.
I'll be reading that Mori no Animal Company and Metamo Kiss tomorrow to counter this. They seem to be cute enough. If not that, hell, I'm reading through Chii's Sweet Home again.
