This trumps my own personal best crazy by a LONG shot. Yikes. And first thing in the morning, too!
You folks dealing with people and their own problems have my profound respect. At least my crazy patients can't talk to us. ;)

It was an omen for the day to come, no doubt about it.

Back when I was in college I worked for a private ambulance service. We also had one of those medibus services for transferring patients from one place to another, and sometimes I got stuck with doing that.

Alone.

And one time I had to take a criminally insane violent murderer from his ward to some hospital.

ALONE.

they had him chained to his wheelchair, and the whole drive he was trying to get out, probably so he could carry out the many violent threats he was making on my life.

Ever drive with one eye on the mirror? I had the lights on and ran every light I came to, I would have been HAPPY to have been pulled over by a cop.

That's my worst crazy story.

Sounds like someone really needs medication.

I have not had something quite like that, but I have had your garden-variety free floating paranoid schizophrenic attach themselves to me on the bus (I must give off nice guy pheromones) and come disastrously close to following me home before I managed to distract/dissuade them.
