Yay! More Robin Hood fanfic!!

Okay, so for the past week or so, I've had the lyrics for the Ooh-de-lally song from the Disney Robin Hood stuck in my head.
And then, whilst looking for the guy who sung all the songs on the film (the rooster sings most of them), me and my friends discovered that the rooster was actually Allan-a-dale.

And so of course this twisted little thing was born.
Featuring all of the outlaws.

Will burst into the camp, breathing heavily after his run.
“They’re coming”, he gasped out, doubling over slightly to catch his breath.
“I’m really not sure about this.” Said Much as the other outlaws moved into position.
“Don’t worry so much, Much.” Allan grinned, “I’m sure Robin and John will appreciate our efforts”.
“I’m not so sure ‘appreciate’ is the word I would use.” Replied Djaq as she went to stand by Much. Will shrugged as he moved away from Allan and towards the other two.
“At least Allan’s going to be the one who gets the blame, we are just innocent bystanders. It was his idea after all”. Allan looked up from what he was doing to stick his tongue out at Will. Will grinned back.

The sound of rustling branches could be heard approaching the camp as Allan strummed his lute (a recent acquisition from a Lucky George style merchant), and started to sing.

“Robin Hood and Little John were walking through the forest,
Laughing back and forth at what the other’n had to say.
Reminiscing this and that and having such a good time,
Ooh de Lally, ooh de Lally, golly what a day.”

As he reached the last line, Robin and John arrived back in the camp from their hunting trip. John had a rabbit slug over each shoulder and a murderous glare on his face. Allan looked up in between verses and saw him drop the rabbits and walk towards him. He carefully put down the lute, and ran off into the trees, still singing, John chasing after him.

Will, Much and Djaq burst out laughing and Robin shot them a quizzical look
“He thought it would be good for morale.” Djaq managed to get out.

Through the trees, Allan could still be heard singing over John’s frustrated shouts.

“Ooh de Lally, ooh de Lally, golly what a day!”
