Last night it snowed here. The first time this fall. We usually have the first snow this time of year. It was a beautiful wet snow. The snow that just clings to everything. When Wil went to work, I went out and helped shovel the walk and clean off the car. It was so beautiful. So I thought I would try to snap some pics. They turned out to be amazing.
So I give you my beautiful, snowy night. (Click on the images for the full-size pictures!)
I'll start with my favorite. This is the large old oak that is in the middle of the our driveway turn around. I love this tree no matter what time of year it is, but in this shot it's absolutely gorgeous!
Here's another shot of it. The mist floating in front is the condensation from our breath.
This was, once upon a time, a dog pen. Now it's a fence for flowers to climb and snow to gather on.
A couple of shots of the shepherd's hooks and lights in front of the house. I love how the lights look like candles.
Two more. The first is a picture of one of our lilac bushes. It was sticky, sticky snow! Finally, I give you Boy (our bunny) who was also out enjoying the snow.
Today it was melty, so it's not quite so pretty. And Wil had a very hard time driving to work last night so the beauty was also beastly. But that's a small price to pay for the wonderfullness of the night!
