Lancomm Challenge: The Law & The Lawless - Vigilante Justice

For the final challenge over at tvrealm we were supposed to create a "Fandom Realm" populated with tv characters who are in opposition to one another. I chose to do one on "The Law & The Lawless", in which I set the 'law' against the 'vigilantes'. One of the things we could do was meta.

What's up with TVTropes? Their own definition says "any means...including murder." So, why are they only including shows in which the vigilante kills the criminal? Doesn't make sense. All of the shows you mentioned are definitely vigilante shows.

I know. Weird.

I guess most people don't want to like something that's 'vigilante', so they just don't call it that.
