(no subject)
So, yesterday Baby Rhea hurt her leg. We hoped the just cracked a nail or pulled something and she'd "walk it off..." so to speak.
It didnt look any better today, so my momma took her to the vet while I was at work.
She tore half her ligament in her knee. She was put on "doggy bedrest" for 2 weeks...
which consists of:
No stairs (fat chance!! all the beds are either up a flight of stairs, or down!!! plus our deck has steps off it)
No running (shes a puppy! seriously?! )
No horseplay (she lives with a 3 yr old hyper ass boxer)
essentially, quiet time for 2 weeks. She was also given an anti-inflamation pill to reduce the swelling. We go back in two weeks if she is still favoring it. Then, at that time , they're gonna want to XRAY her, and probably cut her knee open, and sew her ligament back together... costing over $2,000.... which i don't have. SO hopefully, we can keep her calm. but considering the other dog she lives with.....
