The Usual
Kim and her mother are out of town this week, gone to a horse show up in the Bay Area. I wish I could have gone with them, but I have an appointment to meet a client. Sam insisted. Anyway, I found a young woman out of Aspen, former Marine, who can act as Lenora's assistant, but she has, mm, other skills as well. She'll take good care of them both, I know. Stuart was grateful, is still grateful.
What else was I supposed to do?
Anyway, Casey & Bernie are supposed to be here any minute. They want the full debrief. My wrist still hurts, but a little rest, maybe a drink or two of the good stuff, and I'll be right as rain.
