Graduate school

So I think I may be converging on something folks, in relation to my graduate school "ambitions." The ultimate goal would be to do something along the lines of applied mathematics and computational science & engineering. I'm finding my interests lay most fundamentally with how things compute - alternative computer architectures, biocomputation, bioinformatics, supercomputing, quantum computation, evolutionary computation, evolvable hardware & systems, distributed systems, avogadro systems, etc. In order to achieve this, I feel I need to enhance my computer science degree with some more mathematics. Principally this means taking some supplemental courses in a non-degree program to bolster my mathematical prowess. Additionally, as that is happening, I could pursue a graduate degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering. The math work I could probably do at Penn, as they have an impressive past-bac study program for non-degree applicants. The CE or EE work would probably be done at Drexel, at least for the Masters level. After much rumination, reflection, pondering, self torture, and general confusion, I feel that I may someday, perhaps, like to get a Ph.D. That degree should possibly be in applied mathematics or computational science. At the very least, I should get a masters in computer engineering. with the possible addition of a masters in mathematics or applied mathematics.

*takes a breathe*

At least that's my present flavor of things.
