Hello Luuuther, I Am Mangiiiiiina!
Oh yes today was amusing. Those of you who have seen The Backwoods, should remember the star of the film, Luther, the 30 year old baby genius retard, played by David C. Hayes.
Well I met Mr. Hayes today. I went to the Phoenix Comicon this morning and on my way out the door there he was. I told him that I had a copy of Backwoods. He was disgusted and asked why.
At any rate, he told me he was local and lives right here in Mesa. Being a film major, I was inclined to ask how one would procure such an actor of his prestige to be in a movie. He promptly gave me his phone number and email adress and said something along the lines of "I'll go wherever man, I'll do anything"
Thoroughly pleased, I said I would call him at some point when I get a project going. He said please do. A handshake later it was time to go.
Clearly a bad horror movie needs to be made just as an excuse to have him in it. I'll jump right on that.
I also met, Noel Neill, who played Lois Lane, in the old 50s Superman tv show. And I met a guy there who makes props and replicas of movie props who was looking for people to come work for him and get trained to make props. He wants me to call him tomorrow. Thats right. I will soon be making professional props. STFU!
