I've been thinking lately about this whole dating things. I'm rather confused about dating while in college. It seems like an impossible feat, yet somehow many people find the person that they marry while in college. I guess there's two main things that confuse me. One would be the semester breaks. honestly, you're SO right about the dating thing- it really doesnt exist in college. It's called "hey, lets hang out, kiss, and eventually start living in each other's rooms and have sex all the time because we have nothing better to do, nor do we have the means or the money to date in a classier way...Oh, and by the way, wait around for me during winter and summer break- i promise, i'll call you all the time, and we can revolve the conversation around when we'll next have sex."

haha...no, really, it's not all like that, but you're better off NOT looking for it, because it's like applying for a job- it's just more work.
being "free" as i call it, "single" as some others call it is the best way to be in college (this is the opinion part). Honestly, being, feeling, and doing what you want while you're taking 4 years out to go be somebody- it really has a quality about it that is unexplainable. At times, you may be lonely, but it passes once you realize how wonderful it is to not have to plan your immediate life around another person.
Sigh. You can tell I've been uninvolved for a looooon time.
Oh well.
