So here's a recap of recent events in my life.
This weekend I had full intentions on going to Charleston and basking in the 85-90 degree sun and swimming in the 80 degree water. But those plans were thwarted by Rita. For fear of gas prices sky rocketing, we decided we'd be better off waiting than risking it. Turns out we should have just gone! Anyway, so since there was no beach Eric and I decided to go see a movie.
Eric and I and our friends Amanda, Suzanne and Mike went to Richland mall and saw Just Like Heaven. It was a cute chick flick with Reese Witherspoon, so I couldn't resist. We had planned to wander the mall before the movie, but this mall was pitiful. I think it had maybe 15 stores. The food court consisted of 3 places. It was pitiful. So we wandered the Dollar Tree and got scared of the sketchy clerk. I swear he was a child molester. Creepy.
After the movie we went and hung out in a room on the 6th floor of Eric dorm. Now granted Eric and I haven't drank since being at college, no reason in particular, just haven't really come about it. We figure what the hey. This guy's mom had bought him about $300 worth of alcohol which included Grey Goose Vanilla (fifth), Smirnoff Green Apple (Handle), Crown Royal, SoCo (fifth), Triple Sec, Cuervo (handle), Gin, Bunch of Corona, Khalua (fifth), and some other things that I can't remember. Well all is going well, we're just hanging out and chillin. The guy opened up his suitmates door so people could hang out in the other room, so Eric and I go over there with some others. Well we end up locking that door, because the first room was being really loud and we didn't want to get busted if they did. Well they got busted, and they must have said there was people in the suitmates room, because our door got knocked on. Luckily we managed to pour out any suspicious beverages and there wasn't any alcohol in the room that we were in. Everyone ended up getting written up, but the only reason the people in the room we were in got written up was because we had entered the room we were in from the room that had alcohol. So essentially, I should be able to get out of any trouble, and all will be well. Because I will be slightly agitated if I must pay $50 and take alcohol classes! Anyway, Sunday I spent the day doing a bunch of nothing.
Tonight I had lacrosse practice, so that was refreshing. It's always nice to get disgustingly sweaty from a work out. I feel accomplished. I wish the girls on the team were better though. Some of them are a bit rough.
Anyway, so this week should go by rather uneventfully. I have no tests or anything important so hopefully it'll speed along to the next weekend. :) Much love to all, and special love to Sarah, Tori, Jenn and Roe. I miss you kids a lot!!
