An introduction for those of you not on Liberal Forum. This entry is dedicated to collecting quotes from CVN73, a poster on that forum. He claims he isn't a misogynist. CVN is alright most of his posts are just stories he posts so people have something to debate. Example: "There seem to be alot of links between women that have abortion and child abuse." I know he trys to be funny and I think he just comes off all wrong. Give the poor guy a break from what I understand the guy was abused for years by his wife. No wonder he is mad at women. If my husband beat me I too would hate men. Although I don't think he hates women. I think he is mostly venting.

If I'd been mugged by a black person, would I then have the right to be racist? You've seen his latest about how women who get backstreet abortions if it's made illegal and die are stupid and he has no sympathy for them I take it?

Because he'd go off it if someone said that people who stay in abusive relationships are stupid and we shouldn't have any sympathy for them. (Which isn't my position to clarify. But hypocrisy sucks).

That's ridiculous. He has every right to be mad at his ex. He has no right to have an attitude towards all women. When it's directed at ALL women, it becomes misogyny by definition.

I think he is making it clear he is not directing towards all women. I think some of you take it as an attack on all women just because you don't want to hear what he has to say. He has some valid points, and at times he doesn't. Even when he clearly states "this is not an attack on women" you and others in your mind take it as an attack on all women any way. I think Devil's Avocado's constant attack on him is in poor taste, but thats just me.

Where in any of those quotes does he not attack women as a whole?

And I would remind you that he had a chance to sort it out in a single thread, he agreed, than changed his mind and got the thread deleted when he saw his own words thrown back at him.

Surely that's the actions of someone with something to hide?

And I'm not attacking him anymore than he did with Leftgirl. He even ressurected a long dead thread to attack her when he returned to the board.

Essentially, CVN doesn't like other people treating him in the same way he acts.
