Engagment Photos and trip home prep
So, Jim and I are heading to ol' Actonia tomorrow for a quick weekend trip. I have to work in 3.5 hours, from 6am-3pm. Then we're hoping in the car and driving 10 hours home. And of course, as is tradition, I'm still up, haven't packed, and have a million things to do still. And I'm writing here instead of doing them (or sleeping).
I'm kind of excited about our trip and not totally dreading family stuff. We're doing our engagement shoot and going ring shopping on Friday. Saturday is Tiff's wedding. and the rest of the time is as yet undetermined.
We haven't settled on a location for the engagement shoot yet, but I was thinking it would be fun to do spots around Acton. I would have loved to do Pittsburgh, but the e~session was included in our wedding package, and that means working with our Boston photog. So I'm thinking like, Minuteman Park, maybe the bowl-a-drome... the high school would be cool, but classes are still going on, and it doesn't really look like our old school anymore anyways. There are our parents houses, but they're kind of blah... Anyone have any ideas?
I really should go to bed. I'm glad there's a Redbull waiting for me in my locker at work. Trips home always put me a little on edge.
