Life lately...
So, here is the periodic posting of what's going on in my life, perhaps we can even call it the beginning of 2010 update. No resolutions....I don't really do that kinda thing. So as it stands, I'm living with my dad and trying very hard to remedy this. I'm ready for a good roommate experience, so I'm taking my time and being picky as hell. Stellar roommates, or no roommates! Rawr! In 2009 I learned to crochet, joined weight watchers (I mean business this time), joined Geekitude Meetup, got authorized to fight rapier in the SCA, and got serious about school. I've stuck with all of these things, which is exciting. :) They definitely make me busy, but they also add a lot to my life, which is good.
I went to Texas for my family's Christmas, and not much to report there. Nieces are growing fast and staying groovy, sister is hanging in there, Mom is continuing down the road of alcoholism and general crankiness.
Dad had a lot of medical stuff going on toward the end of this year, and is also continuing down the path of crankiness.
I'm very much enjoying my first long-term relationship/experience in polyamory, and so far so good. A few bumps in the road, as are to be expected, but for the most part things are peaceful, and I'm ridiculously happy. :)
I came to terms with some emotional and social changes, and am no worse for the wear (mostly).
Haven't been working much, and had a chaotic living situation through most of 2009, so I'm hoping to fix both of those things in 2010.
So that's about it, and now I'm off to look at a studio. :)
