I'm gonna buy this place and watch it fall
I was about to say 'I haven't updated for ages' but that's completely not true because I updated less than a week ago. Well never mind. Maybe I'm referring to substantial updates. In which case I haven't updated for months. So there.
I haven't been doing a lot. Summer dozes on. You know you don't have much of a life when you realise you haven't put socks on in days. Actually, scratch that, could have been wearing sandals.
Sunday was stock take, and at the end we were all sitting around the back till (not) doing sums, and Jayne came down and said that if we were talking we wouldn't be able to concentrate on the sums. And when she went back upstairs all the weekday staff giggled and said it was like being back at school. Actually I shouldn't complain about Jayne too much because she lent me a fantastic book- Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino. It's amazing, just overpoweringly beautiful and I don't even think I understand it.
Today Dad came home and asked if I wanted to go out, so we went to the New Forest to draw the horses. And then walked into Lyndhurst and bought a pasty to take home. Fun fun.
