AT BLOODY LAST!!
I got my laptop fixed! Yay! Hopefully it'll last me until I can afford a new computer of some sort - I'm thinking a desktop next time, I miss Sims2!
Update via bulletpoints, stuff that has happened:
* Cut off my dreads! Yes, I am no longer itchy and stinky. Don't get me wrong, I loved my dreadies but the time came to part with them, so I've now got a scruffy short crop. I feel lighter and cleaner, but lacking in identity.
* Retired my left nipple piercing! It was starting to reject. Ew.
* Put the rats all in together! Spent all this afternoon scrubbing cages down and dousing the little guys in vanilla essence so they all smell the same. So far so good, no blood drawn. A few scraps but generally I'm very impressed. Pankhurst is making great new friends, Radcliffe is bagsing all the best sleeping spots, but Shenley is just sitting in corners whimpering. To be fair, that's pretty much what he did before the cage-merge, but now he's got the hefty Mr. Radcliffe into the equation, and the two of them aren't good friends so I'm keeping an eye on him. I'm hoping he'll get on with Bailey, and they can spend some frail-old-male-bonding time together, telling stories about their troubled youths. Hot Bob seems to be looking after him at the moment, well done Hottie.
* Bought a bike helmet and gloves! One that fits me now I don't have the dreads. Mmmm....minimal risk of braaaaaain damage. Next on the acquisition list - jacket and trousers.
* Signed for flat for July! I have a home! Hurrah! The one I was hoping for as well, schweet.
So yes, I will now endeavour to get back up to date with life online.
