I'm in a stupidly good mood, I love everyone and everything!
I decided last night "Right! That's it, I'm getting a job" and went into town employment-hunting today. The sun is shining, a magpie called to me as I walked out of the door and I've been singing all the way home.
There's a full time vacancy at my favourite sewing and craft shop! It's fate! It only became available the other day, so I threw in my CV before they'd even put a sign in the window. I shall work with lace and ribbons and wool and sequins for a living! Failing that, there's also a part time vacancy there (the beautiful sewing shop girl with the long long blonde dreadlocks is leaving, oh woe is me! If I cannot have her undying love, at least I can have her job!), as well as part time vacancies in Shared Earth (hippy fairtrade shop), Holland and Barrett, and Julian Graves (wholefood/healthfood/nuts and berries kinda shops). I shall be employed! Rah!
I bought a huge bag of toy stuffing (I'm going to make Manny and Bernard dolls) and two big rolls of bubblewrap. The bubblewrap is for shipping corsets, but I'm tempted to just pop it all in joyous celebration of life. I've forgiven Radcliffe for breaking Shenley's leg (it's much better now, I don't think he'll need it amputated after all) and I hugged and tickled him until his eyes boggled out of his head. Life is so good I'm almost suspicious that a huge piano is going to fall on me or something as a sort of cosmic punchline.
Ooh, and we have vegan haggis for Burns Night! And fudge with whisky in!
