Stuck on the third page of the "letters" article in the "comment" section is....my letter to the editor of The Varsity.
I'm happy to see I'm not the only one to express disgust at last week's editorial on the story about a guy who was attacked for being an atheist.
It's nice to see all those comments printed, but of course, the editorial staff doesn't seem bothered by any of it...they merely refer to it as being "scolded" in this week's editorial.
I don't know any of the Varsity editors or staff, so I'm being completely unfair and speculative when I say this, but between this editorial and the last...something smells like overinflated egos. Then again, most editorials written from the "view of the student editor chair" tend to come off that way. Meh.
