Starting September 2010, Ontario high schools will be
introducing a Gender Studies course as a grade eleven elective.
Too bad it can't be a compulsory course. After all, that careers class I had to take in grade ten was a bullshit waste of time. (My teacher literally incorporated watching Grease into a lesson in order to fill time. Normally I would not be opposed to such things, but most of the class had been filler anyway.) Gender Studies would have been infinitely more interesting.
