Only about a month of summer vacation left. Mixed feelings. Almost everybody I've talked to is ready to go back to school. I can't say the same. There are a few reasons that I'm ready to go and a few reasons why I'm not.

Why I want to go back to school:
1. Once in a while I get sick of being around my family. I got used to not having parents nagging me, etc.
2. My only responsibility is school.
3. I want to use the rec.
4. I miss Paradigm and Cru... I don't know where to get plugged into college student church activities around here.
5. I want to move into the apartment... it's going to be fun! And I miss Kelli!

Why I don't want to go back to school:
1. Pretty much all this summer has been is summer school and work... I want a real summer at home.
2. I like my house. And free food.
3. I will miss my parents a little bit.
4. I will miss my friends from high school a lot.
5. I like working at Rockfish a whole lot... I will miss everyone from there. 'Specially Miguel and John Michael! : /

Sooo... yeah....

In other news... I have my new computer. I got it a week ago from tomorrow... I like it a whole lot. In case you don't know (and I'm sure you do because I must have mentioned it 20934390 times in the past like 2 months), I got a Mac Powerbook 15". Mine's all souped up so it should last me a few years through this architecture program. I like having a laptop so far but it's kinda weird. Right now I have it in my family room... sittin' on the couch. Hahah it's neat. Getting used to using a Mac is kinda weird... just different I guess. It's pretty user friendly so I haven't had any big problems yet. But I wish it uses right-click because I did that all the time on my old PC. But anyway, Macs are cool looking. And my screen is pretty awesome. And the computer is nice and fast... woohoo! AND to make up for not having the scrollwheel on the mouse, dragging two fingers on the touchpad thing makes it scroll... it's neat.

Summer school pretty much blows. Physics sucked haaaardcore... calculus isnt so bad because I don't hate the material and the teacher is real nice. But it's still school... in the summertime... ew....
