Big Sunglasses
I recently decided that aside from being all fashionable and trendy, big sunglasses actually are likeable. Now, aside from protecting your eyes from the retina damaging UV rays of our sun, they work to my advantage in other ways.
case in point....
i was driving home from class the other day with my friend mike in the front seat. he was talking about something and i was ignoring what he was saying in lieu of listening to my music (on the radio, not in my head). He was distracting me from enjoying fully the 311 song that was playing, so i put on my big sunglasses and whammo!!! he was no longer there!
these wonderful big sunglasses completely blocked out all of my peripheral vision and i couldnt see a thing of him!!!
no more annoying hand gestures
no more moving mouth
no more mike!
so i tried this experiment several more times in different situations ie;
walking to class
sitting in class
ordering food
eating food
etc....
in each of these situations, big sunglasses worked to my advantage!
they are like the horse blinders used, well, used on horses (derr)
but instead of being forced on me i wanted those bad boys!!!!!
so, to any celebrity that may happen across this entry, i support your continued use of big sunglasses. i'm sure they help you ignore those anoying paprazzi.
and! to all you normal ladies who wear big sunglasses, keep it up! when people tell you they are trendy and annoying put them on and block that person out!!!! perfect right!
