“Excise me!” Noëlle exclaimed, looking down at the papers she spilled. “I’m so sorry.” Without looking at the body she’d knocked into she bent to gather up the pages. After a beat the body knelt as well.

“It’s quite alright.” The body was male and judging by the accent - English. “Are you okay?” Still kneeling down on the floor Noëlle looked up to actually see the man. Her gaze met two very dark brow eyes. There was a beat; they just looked at one another. His hair was as dark as his eyes, is lips thin, his jaw square. He was not as handsome as the charming Lumiére, but she was still taken aback for a moment. And then she remembered where she was. Noëlle sprang to her feet and handed him the pages she’d collected, burning with blush she said,

“Fine, fine. I really am terribly sorry.” His fingers brushed hers as he took the papers.

“No need for apology, I should’ve been watching.”

Sorry this is so short we have company so I only posted what I have typed at this time....
