Cats and Parrots?
I am very interested in getting a parrot, but I am trying to get informed before taking such a big step. I've been reading up on care, feeding, training, the different species of parrot, where the nearest parrot resues, breeders, etc. are, but I have a question I haven't seen an answer to.
See, I have two cats. Is it possible to keep both birds and cats? Does anyone here do it? If so, what precautions do you take and what recommendations would you make? Or should I wait until my cats are gone (another 10 years or more) before bringing home a parrot?
